Source Coverage Map

This page describes how the complete source corpus reaches the knowledge layer. It is a navigation and provenance aid, not a second set of article summaries. The machine-readable route inventory is _meta/source-routing.json; the linter verifies that every complete extraction record appears there exactly once and that a synthesized route names a page that actually cites its raw source.

Coverage rule

A complete source has one deliberate disposition:

  1. Synthesized — it contributes to one or more substantive entity, concept, comparison, or query pages.
  2. Source-only — it remains individually discoverable in raw/README.md and the extraction corpus, with a written rationale for why it does not currently support a reusable knowledge node.

This avoids two failures at once: pretending that every saved link needs a standalone page, and silently losing distinctive material inside a broad topical summary.

Current boundary

Three complete records remain source-only because they are a standalone fictional narrative, a time-bound 2021 Israeli political report, and an obsolete 2023 Apple beta-distribution change. They are preserved, searchable, and explicitly identified in the routing inventory; no factual claims from them are generalized into the synthesis layer.
